The Full Moon School of Music Summer Camps are an immersive musical experience. Our camps give students and non students alike tailored instruction to reach their fullest potential while catering to their goals. All of our camps provide different opportunities for our campers that can only be found at the Full Moon School of Music. Whether your child has an extensive background in music or is just starting out, we strive to provide a fun and educational experience that will enhance their musical journey!For advanced musicians ages 11-16
2 WEEKS
Monday-Friday (June 10-14) & Monday-Friday (June 17-21)
We will take over the KIDSFEST STAGE as our BIG RAWK CAMP culmination! Exact day and TBD Friday-Sunday (7/21-23) as ATHFEST performances are finalized.
For almost two full weeks, campers will be placed in a band according to their preferred instrument, age, & abilities. They will work together to write and record an original song at the Full Moon Studio while learning other songs of their choosing. Campers will also learn advanced songwriting techniques and how to work together as a band. In the end, all of their hard work will culminate into a performance at AthFest!
For intermediate musicians ages 11-16
Monday-Sunday (July 22-28)
In Rock camp, campers will not only have the opportunity to learn their favorite songs, they will also get to write and record an original song! This will be performed on a livestream during the last day of camp at the Full Moon Studio (NEXT DOOR to the school) . Campers will also have a chance to experiment with other instruments to become a more well-rounded musicians.
For aspiring musicians ages 8-11 and 12-16
Monday-Friday (July 8-12)
For those just starting out, this camp is perfect for exploring the fundamentals of music in an exciting environment. Each day, campers will have a chance to learn different rock instruments. They will leave with a stronger foundation in multiple musical techniques and instruments that they can easily build on and grow with.
All of our camps are from 9 AM-4 PM!
Yes! However, we have water on hand from Waterman and will provide them a snack during a break period. There will be a pizza party one day during the camp. The pizza day will be decided the week of camp.
We provide one t-shirt for each camper. If you would like extra, we will have pre-orders open at the beginning of sign-ups.
Yes! If they are already a student at Full Moon, they will have to have an instructor recommendation. This is to ensure that your child is capable of learning advanced musical techniques.
We recommend to bring your own instruments if you can. If your child does not own any instruments, no worries! We have instruments that we can provide at camp. If your child plays the drums or keys, however, they do not need to bring their drum set or keyboard unless requested and approved at camp.
Although illness isn’t predictable, we do strongly hope for full attendance. One camper’s absence will affect the other campers’ progress. As always, please practice at home, and come prepared for the next day!
There is one snack break and one lunch break. Other breaks will include a walk around the Rocket field with some field games to break up the day. During the breaks, they will get to eat and play with the other kids.
No. We apologize, but the studio space is very limited. There isn’t enough room for the instructors, band members, engineers, and parents.
